Bug description:

Error message when updating a database with removed folders in the database
When a folder is removed from the archive and the folder is deleted or renamed then Music Archive cannot update the database. The problem exists because of the way Music Archive handles folders. When a folder is removed from the archive the folder continues to be listed in one of the database files, and to indicate that the folder no longer is part of the archive system the folder is marked as deleted. The problem is that when Music Archive states a database update it checks if all root folders can found, but Music Archive doesn’t check if the root folder is deleted from the system. This means that a removed folder that has been deleted or renamed will stop the update process with an error message.

The problem is related to another bug in Music Archive that shows folders that have been removed from the archive. A description of that bug can be reed here.

Solution:

The only way to counter the problem is to not delete any of the root folders that Music Archive has been configured to scan.
