Once more there is a new version of Music Archive on the way. And this time the changes are big. The new version will contain a new plugin based file information system. The idea with the system is that music information saved directly in the music files is loaded through a plugin system and not directly by Music Archive’s main application. This means that Music Archive do not need to be changed in order to support new music formats or information formats. The new system is build upon the existing Schema system that is running in Music Archive version 1.10. The new system is created to make Music Archive more flexible in supporting more filetypes.

The version number of the new version has not been planed yet, but the software is expected released in the second half of July.
