File Renamer has been updated to version 4.01. The update contains a single bug fix, which primarily is targeted at users of Windows Vista.

The bug fix solves a problem in File Renamers language system. The problem was that the application texts could be missing when File Renamer was started. If the texts were missing the only solution was to close File Renamer and start it again. In some cases this could temporarily solve the problem.

The problem has been observed when File Renamer was running on Windows Vista but the problem was not restricted to this operating system. The nature of the problem was however of a type so that it could have been seen on Windows 2000 or Windows XP systems. However in practice the problem has not been observed on the last mentioned operating systems.

Beside an update to the language system to solve the mentioned problem File Renamer 4.01 does not contain any other changes compared to File Renamer 4.0. An update from File Renamer version 4.0 to version 4.01 is therefore only required if you have observed the mentioned problem.
